The Cure for an Expensive Operation

omega 3 small dogThe question about how do we prevent our cat Mac, from ever having to go through another surgery for his sinus cavity, and inner ear, was an interesting one. We assumed, that there would be some high-tech answer or that we were doomed to give Mac some expensive new drug that had serious side affects. The Vet drew a breath and said, “We will try Omega 3″.

My husband and I looked at each other. We didn’t even know what Omega 3 was. She brought out the best solution at the time, which was the Derm Caps 10′s Petites. It was reasonably priced, and there were 60 in the bottle. They were only 345 mg, so they looked really easy to give to Mac, who was a pro at taking pills, because Mac was and still is epileptic and has to take phenobarbital twice a day – (really, how did we get such a cat for free? ).

It seemed easy, and inexpensive, but would it really work? The vet told us, he had to maintain a level of Omega 3 in his system, and that would keep the keratin production under control, so it was really important that he got his softgel every day.  She sent us home with our new natural cure and we started.

next: all good things must come to an end.
